"But perhaps you hate a thing and it is good for you; and perhaps you love a thing and it is bad for you. And Allah Knows, while you know not. This relates the most to me because it can be applied to most situation, because Allah knows best."

The Human Brain

That’s our self. That’s it.

Selfie game: Anatomical

The first time I held a human brain in Anatomy Lab I was completely speechless. I looked at my classmates expecting a similar reaction and they looked back at me confused like…”dude let’s start identifying the structures.” I had to take a step back and let it process…in my hands was someone’s entire life. From start to finish, every memory, every emotion, every bodily control…was right there in my hands.
SubhanAllah, that day I remembered the words of my mom when she told me….”in your profession you will be working with the human body every day. When you’re in Anatomy lab identifying and working with the cadavers really look and behold the greatness of Allah. That body, those organs, the muscles, the bones, the nerves…all of that is from Allah. Only Allah can create that masterpiece you see in front of you. That’s not just a pile of flesh and bones, that’s Allah’s work.”

Best Fonts 2013

Since long time a good friend of us betype.co has made a great list of awesome fonts chosen by number of sales, notes, aesthetics and personal preferences. We love this list and recommend it to everyone love using extraordinary fonts for his project. At first 100 fonts seems to be to much, but in fact it was a year very active with many releases of fonts and new type foundries, at the end it was hard to decide just 100 fonts.
